The webinar broadcasts a workshop on flexible and cost-effective monitoring and control technologies that have been demonstrated in the NEED4B project demo sites. They can be used either in new buildings or in refurbished ones to improve energy efficiency and users’ comfort. The webinar includes a practical part with cheap hardware and open source software. It shows how to easily configure some sensors, retrieve the data via Wifi, display them in a dashboard and use them to take control actions which could be applied to the equipment in any building. The software used in the examples is available for download as well.
