The Concrete Spanish Technology Platform (PTEH) organized recently a national workshop, focused on the new European Union’s programme Horizon 2020. The event took place in Madrid, in the month of February, and was chaired by the PTEH president.
Under the topic “R&D&i at European Level: Opportunities in H2020”, the workshop gathered a vast number of professionals from R&D&I departments, companies interested in the internationalization of their activities, universities, research centres and consultancies.
CIRCE took part in the “Best practices” session, presenting among these stakelhoders the NEED4B project, its characteristics, activities, and latest developments. Together with CIRCE, another NEED4B partner, Acciona Infraestructuras, participated in this session presenting the SUSCON project, which pursues to study the integration of waste materials in the production of concrete.
The event aimed to facilitate the comprehension, knowledge and procedures of the new EU’s research programme, in order to promote the access of national entities to the different European funding options, as a tool to improve their competitiveness.
